A Young Person of this Generation Who Concludes this Age

Chapter 1

Wake up, Get Up and GO!

Scripture Reading: John 21:20-24; Eph. 5:14-18

The Lord Needs a “Last Generation”

In this time, the Lord has brought us to the organic ministry of John. The organic ministry of John is the ministry of life. It is also a ministry that concludes the New Testament as well as the whole Bible. The portion that we read in John 21 shows us the importance of what the Lord gave to John: “If I want him to remain until I come” (v. 22). A generation will be ready to receive the Lord, to find the Lord; a living generation. The Lord needs a “last generation.”

The organic ministry of John is to conclude the Bible, and the conclusion of the Bible is the conclusion of this age. The conclusion of this age introduces another age, the age of the kingdom, which is the coming of the Lord. It is a privilege to live in this age. We have a great opportunity to be the last generation. We don't want to be known as those who merely said, “We are the last generation.”

It is possible that through the 2000 years of history since the death of the Lord, every generation of Christians would think of themselves as being the last generation. This even includes the first generation of Paul. When he wrote the first epistle to the Thessalonians, he had an expectation to find himself alive with the Lord. I believe that he judged that his generation would not only be the first, but would also be the last, or would be the generation that would change that age and be found by the Lord.

We have had many generations, and it is possible that the brothers that met in the churches to have conferences probably said that they were the last generation, but they were not. After this, generation upon generation has passed, until it has now come to us. This is our opportunity. This is our time.

A generation is composed of fathers, young men and children (1 John 2:12-13). A generation needs mature saints who know the Father, who are firm. We need young men who are strong, who overcome the evil one. We also need the children, who also know the Father and have their sins forgiven. We need all of you! God needs you and God needs us! We are all in the same boat and are all in the same generation. We do not want to fail.

I believe that in these messages, the Lord wants to wake us up in a special way, get us up, and make us go! He wants to get us out of our condition, our situation, to make us a part of the highest elite of all history! These elite are the overcomers of the last generation! Hallelujah for the organic ministry of John. The organic ministry of John is a great call for the highest elite of all history. Those who want to be a part of the highest elite in all of history will say “AMEN!”

Maybe there are some who do not want to say amen, for they are sleeping. They don’t want to be part of this elite, or they don’t believe that the world will come to an end. This world will come to an end! It will not come to an end in a simple way, but rather it will be crushed. Why did John get up and go? He did not want to get crushed. Who wants to get crushed? The Lord today is calling for the last generation; a generation that will change this age; a generation that will conclude this age. After the Lord takes his chosen ones, this earth will be crushed under the wrath of the Lamb; there will be a great tribulation that has never been known by men. The elite of the last generation pass through the experience of narrowly escaping the great tribulation. This should give you a great chill in your stomach. You either escape or fall under the wrath of the Lamb. Do you want to be under the wrath of God? Today we need to wake up, get up and Go! Go out to practice the Word.
